SAME INSPIRATION AND ENTHUSIASM

We, Nomin team, is writing about our colleagues who work with us and sometimes have dreams and inspirations much bigger than ours and excelling extraordinarily in their lives. They are not handicapped; they are just slightly different than us. When writing the article, we felt the enormous hearts and extraordinary dreams.

Wish well for others and the goodness comes back.

Please introduce yourself.

I am Amarzaya Ulzii-Orshikh. I was born on October 3 1971. I graduated from Special School No 29 in 1990. Then I graduated the Culture Institute as a dance teacher and trainer. In 2010, I became the Best Employee of the Cultural Sector and was awarded Honorary Labor Medal in 2016.

Please share with us your story about how you joined Nomin. What do you like about your job?

I first came with my mother to apply for the job. I became an inventory staff at Nomin Fashion branch on July 15 2012; then I became storage inventory staff for Terranova in 2014 and have been working continuously for 7 years. I love my work; thoroughly enjoy working with my colleagues and very grateful to them.

Where do you draw your inspiration and energy?

I love to dance. I play dance music loud, feel the beat, and count one to eight and memorize the dance movement. Although I love dancing, it was very hard to learn. Nonetheless, when someone wants something, they work for that and that is what I did – I kept trying and finally learnt to dance. I get inspiration from my family, parents and my talented daughter. I am very happy that our storage accountant Nominjargal knows very well the sign language and is very close with me.

Please tell us about your family?

I have a daughter. My daughter Narmandal is 22 years old. She graduated as a choreographer and producer from the Mongolian Institute of Culture and Arts. She is now doing her master’s degree in dance and will graduate this spring.

What are you proud of?

My daughter has been very fond of arts ever since she was little. I am very happy that now she is working hard to become an artistic person. I am always proud of my daughter.

What are your future dreams and aspiration?

I am a member of the Sudalbar dance team of the Mongolian Association of Cultures for the Hearing Handicapped. We will celebrate our 35th anniversary in 2021. I plan to be in charge for organizing the celebration. We have been working continuously to develop the talent of the hearing disabled people, and encourage their creativity and equal participation in social life and support their confidence in themselves and in life. I have dreamt of my daughter becoming a dancer ever since she was small – I am very happy that my daughter is working towards that goal a little by little.

What was the best advice that you have received in your life?

My mother used to say “Always wish well to others, then the goodness will come back to you”. I have never forgotten this and always work to make this come true.

Is there any gratitude that you would like to express to your colleagues?

I wish to take the opportunity to express my deepest appreciation for my colleagues at the Nomin Holding LLC who has been very supportive in the past 7 years. I am very proud of my colleagues with whom I share happy and sad moments and who make each of the team members feel like a family member. Respecting others is a beginning of a great life.
