Story about joining Nomin

I first joined 2013 winter. I came from the UK in 2012 and have been looking for work. I received offer from two large employers, namely МСS and Nomin. Not exactly sure why, but may be because I frequent Nomin, I chose Nomin. But it was a long waiting and I started working after 2 months. /laughs/

Have you worked in other sectors before?

I studied in England for 4 years. While studying business relations in Manchester, I worked as a sales representative at a warehouse for 2 years.

Have you ever thought you might become a Master Salesperson? What was your reaction when you first found out?

I was determined to become one and my colleagues were very supportive. Thus in July I had busily-scheduled plans and worked so hard. When people were resting and/or on vacation, through tough hot weathers, thunder storms and sand stores, we worked from 05:00 till 12:00 at Khui doloon khudag.

That morning, I had had asked for 2 hours off in the morning to take my son to Gachuurt. Then the director called and said “Make sure to be in at 10a.m”. When I arrived, I was told there is a good news and “please check with the HR department”. That is how I heard the good news. What is equally great was the fact that my husband has also arrived to dine with me (he usually does not come). At first it was hard to believe that I had has become the winner.

What was your family’s reaction?

My husband was so thrilled. He is the one who is completely in charge for non-work matters. For some reason, when alone and then when back at home, I cried a lot. This was a great feeling.

Have you taken part in other competitions organized by Nomin?

Yes, many including becoming first winner of the “25 million” competition.

Please share from our sales methods and experiences.

In 2017, I became the Best Salesperson during the New Year event of the Insurance Association. I am literally breathing insurance. I have patrons. Some of the customers who have been with me for many years become very close, like friends or siblings.

Advice for other sales peoples?

People themselves must be persistent. It appears as if some young people become disheartened when they hear highly-demanding plan. It is only after overcoming this hurdle, that the yields will benefit. Insurance is as important for people’s lives as water and air.

What are the nice things about your job?

Meeting amazing people and exchanging information.

What are some hard parts about your job?

Having less time to spend with your family. Life is rich and sudden things happen to many people and at those times we must be with the customers and their families.
